How to Spot Treat an Inflamed Papule

1. Cleanse and tone your face with the appropriate products as recommended by your skin care professional.
2. Using a cube of ice, place directly onto the papule for 10 minutes, taking 30 second breaks so that the cold does not burn the skin.
3. Using a therapeutic mask product, dab a small amount directly onto the papule.
4. Let the product dry and stand for at least 12 minutes.
5. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
6. Pat your face dry with a towel.

Here's a "What to Do Wednesday" skin care regimen from one of our in-house beauty experts Martha, that will be sure to boost your exfoliating cycle:
 
Always use the Exfol-A in the PM and skip a day if it’s too dry. This should last the first 2 weeks of the treatment, as your skin becomes acclimated to the products.

Don’t forget the ICE! Ice compresses are healing and bring down inflammation; apply after cleansing with BP 3% Acne Wash.

For the dryer areas (perioral) apply our Day Treatment SPF 15  for moisturizing.

Because the main objective here is to rev-up the normal 28 day exfoliating cycle, you are going to experience dryness first and then a light peeling.

I had the priviledge to try a new cleanser from VIVANT SKIN CARE. It's the Green Tea one (which personally I love). I had the smallest bottle but you can choose from three different sizes: 2oz, 8oz and 16oz at 11.00$, 29.50$ or 53.50$.

This cleanser is perfect for any kind of skin, also for the most delicate. The consistency is clean and super light. You need just a tiny bit of it to create a nice foam to wash your face (or body) with. The smell is lovely and delicate and you can totally recognize grape scent, which is one of the ingredient along with Green tea and honey. I have combination skin and a lot of times is really difficult to find product that are not too harsh or too moisturizing.

This is perfect 'cause is really delicate but at the same time it has an high cleansing power. I love to use it as a post-makeup cleansing. I personally think it's a great quality product.

[VIDEO] Vivant Skin Care Tip: How to Properly Cleanse Your face with Benzoyl Peroxide

Today we are here in Vivant Skin Care's training facility located within our corporate offices in Miami Lakes, FL, to demonstrate the proper way to cleanse your face with Benzoyl Peroxide, using Vivant Skin Care's BP 3% Acne Wash. Benzoyl Peroxide, or BP, is a powerful oxidant that penetrates deeply into your pores and suppresses acne-causing bacteria. BP has a unique dual mechanism that upon entering the pores, releases oxygen which kills acne bacteria. Its deep exfoliating properties then flush out the pore impactions such as whiteheads and blackheads, leaving the skin cleaner and smoother.

Here's how to do it:

Step 1: Apply warm water to the affected areas generously.

Step 2: Using a quarter-sized application of BP 3% Acne Wash, cleanse the area using circular motions
for 1-2 minutes. A good way to tell if enough time has passed is to sing "Happy Birthday" in your head
twice.

Step 3: Rinse the area well using cold water.

Step 4: Carefully pat dry the affected area with a soft hand towel.

Step 5: Apply any additional Vivant therapeutic products.

It's that easy!
