Testimonial Tuesday - Product Reviews by PrettyGossip.com

It's Testimonial Tuesday! This week we feature the review of two our our most popular items (Marine Skin Nourishment Cream and Green Tea Antioxidant Cleanser) by Mindy from PrettyGossip.com
Have you heard of Vivant Skin Care?! I’ve been enjoying Vivant Skin Care’s Marine Skin Nourishment Cream and Green Tea Antioxidant Cleanser for a few months and I’m impressed. I love how gentle these products are on my sensitive skin, the simple (but sturdy) packaging, and subtle scents!

Marine Skin Nourishing Cream ($60.50 for 3.3oz):

A rich antioxidant moisturizer that replenishes the skin with a special blend of marine minerals, amino acids, sea proteins and polysaccharides. Protects against moisture loss and free radical damage. Key Ingredients: Grape Seed Oil, Algae Extract, Oat Protein, Whole Leaf Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Green Tea Extract

I really love this moisturizer. Vivant calls it a cream, but I’d say it’s between a cream and a lotion consistency. It’s meant for dry skin like mine, so if you have oily or acne prone skin… probably don’t want to use this cream. Vivant has treatments specifically for acne prone skin, so be sure to check them out on Vivant’s website. The Marine Cream has a very subtle cucumber fragrance. :) My skin feels comfortably moisturized, sans greasiness, so it’s great for day and night.

Green Tea Antioxidant Cleanser ($29.50 for 8oz):

A universal face and body cleanser fortified with antioxidants Green Tea, Grape Seed and Kiwi Extracts. Gently foams away impurities while preserving the skin’s natural acid mantle. Great for all skin types, including rosacea. Key Ingredients: Green Tea Extract, Kiwi Fruit Extract, Honey Extract, Grape Seed Extract

The antioxidant packed cleanser is a watery gel consistency with a light green tea scent. The cleanser lathers up well but not to the point where you feel like your face got attacked by a bubble bath. Just the right amount of lather and bubble. Also, my sensitive skin and eyes have never been irritated by the cleanser! High five for being gentle!

Although Vivant made a great cleanser, it’s not meant to remove waterproof makeup. Whenever you’re using waterproof makeup, you should ALWAYS use a makeup remover to remove your makeup. :) To prove my point, I did a little beauty experiment. Below are a few of my favorite makeup products and you can see that the Green Tea cleanser wasn’t able to remove the makeup except the Blinc mascara. Btw, Blinc is a tube mascara that never smears but can be easily removed with just water! For the most part, the other waterproof mascara and eyeliners stayed put. So yes, a separate eye makeup remover is necessary! If you’re interested, check out my other cleanser posts: Cleanser vs. Waterproof Eyeliner Part 1 and Part 2!

Overall, Vivant Skincare is a great find! Vivant really backs up their claim for being gentle. If you have sensitive and/or acne prone skin, this might be the skincare line you’ve been looking for.

Let me know if you’ve tried Vivant!
